Lovely campsite in a quiet and beautiful place by the shore of Loch Lommond. It has a great grass area to pitch your tent, well mantained toilets and a practical two sinks tap of drinkable water.

Royal Yacht Britannia

Edinburgh
Considered to be "Scotland's best visitor attraction", the Royal Yacht Britannia in Leith, Edinburgh, gives you an experience of what life was like on board one of the world's most famous ships.

Launched in 1953 from Clydebank and beginning service in early 1954, the Royal Yacht Britannia was in use for 44 years, where she travelled a total of 1,087,623 nautical miles, calling at over 600 ports in 135 countries. During these years of service the Queen and the Royal Family were carried on 968 official voyages and four Royal couples spent their honeymoons, including Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

Officially decommissioned on 11 December 1997, the Royal Yacht Britannia lay to rest in Edinburgh where, open year round and just 15 minutes from Edinburgh city centre, huge numbers of tourists come every year to board the decks. Voted 'Best Visitor Attraction in the UK' in 1999 and runner-up in 2003, highlights of a visit to the Royal Yacht Britannia include a fascinating audio tour of five decks, the elegant State Apartments, the Crew's Quarters and the Engine Room.
